Intelligence positive?

Here's my stupid question of the moment: Do most people consider intelligence to be a positive attribute? It's been my observation that most people DON'T consider intelligence to be a positive attribute. And since it is just an observation, there's a good chance that I'm wrong. But if I'm right, it would explain a lot. For example, it would confirm my suspicion that those who misuse technology the most understand it the least. Because unlike most science-minded people, those who have little understanding of science don't use science to understand the mysteries of the universe. More often, they employ the products of science for (what I call) detrimental purposes like waging war.

Yes! There is so, so, so much more I have to say about this issue. But since I don't have time to bring it all up now, I'll just have to bring it up later.

I am posting this everywhere I can, Please help us.
There are thousands of good people who could potentially lose their lives very soon.

Since the release of the information on the Sujiatun concentration camp in China, which is reported to do live organ harvesting on Falun Gong practicioners. More people have been stepping forward to reveal information. Recently, a veteran military doctor in the region of Shenyang said that the Sujiatun Concentration camp is just one of 36 such camps. Another camp in Jilin Province referred to as 672-S is said to hold over 120,000 people.

According to the Integrated Committee's announcement, transplant hospitals in China are now telling patients to "come in quickly" to get transplants. Patients are told that matching organs can be found at this time in as short as one or two days. The hospitals are also reported to say that, "it will be difficult after this batch of organs is used up."

We fear that there is going to be a mass execution to “hide the evidence” and get rid of witnesses. PLEASE HELP us, Falun Gong practitioners around the world are requesting an international investigation while there is still time.

I'm tired of the celebacy "stigma"!

I'm a 40-year-old-virgin, and I don't give a fuck who knows! Sexual intercourse, in what's supposed to be a free country, should be a matter of choice. I can't say yes to sex at this point in time because this so-called "society" makes it sound as if sex is mandatory. And when people tell me what to do, it pisses me off and it encourges me to do the oppose. "You have to have sex. If you don't, you're going to suffer." Right. And if that's true, then I'm President Laura Roslin: Leader of the Twelve Colonies! Besides, there's this thing called freedom of choice. Look into it!!!

In a civilized world, people of a wide variety of types would be accepted for who they are. But since we live in an unciviled pseudo-society, those who are sexually inactive are labelled abberant and disturbed. But I'll tell you what. If you want me to become sexually active, tell me NOT to have sex. That way, I'll be inclined to have sex simply out of definance. Because as I said before, I HATE when people (who have no authority over me) tell me what to do! If you give me a choice instead of an order, I'll be more likely to do what you want me to do. I cannot express my incalculable contempt for the vicious and stupid belief that there exists a right not to be offended. As far as I know THERE IS NO RIGHT NOT TO BE OFFENDED!!! I get offended all the time. In fact, I'm offended as we speak. But even I accept the fact that people can offend me if they so choose. It pisses me off, but I do accept it. What I can't accept is when dumb fucks and retardos express their obscene belief that they have the right not to offended, but I don't have that same right! As such, they can isult the shit and the fuck out of me, while i can't do the same to them without beinf severely punished by them! People like this are too damn evil for me to deal with!!

The solution to this problem that i prefer is to have all these "I have the right not to be offended" nutballs shoved into a giant spaceship and send that giant spaceship into the nearest black hole!!! ("Black hole sun... won't you come.. and wash away the rain...") I certainly don't want to continue living on the same planet with those assholes!!

If you whine back at somebody who whines, YOU are contributing to the whining problem. Just as current U.S. foreign policy encourages more terrorism, whining back at whiners ENCOURAGES more whining! More to the point, the best way to stop people from whining is either to kill them or somehow make them achieve perfection. Dead people don't whine and neither do perfect people. But since those options are not practical, whining is very likely going to remain an UNAVOIDABLE part of the human experience. "But you're wrong! You're an asshole for being a whiner! Stop whining and grow up! Whining is worse than Osama bin Laden!" Why should I take that "advice" when it sounds a lot like my own whining?!?! Sorry, but I'm not going to accept the Orwellian view that only those who whine about whiners have the right to whine. Either whining is wrong for everyone, or everyone is allowed to whine!
I cetainly know that in my case, my whining would be substantially reduced if people would HELP me adaquately solve the problems that I'm whining about. If those problems disappeared, my whining would very likely disappear. "But it's not that simple, so stop whining, you asshole mother fucker!!" I know it's not that easy, but I still say we should try it! and whether you believe it or not, the world DOES NOT have to be the way it is!

A high source of evil (again)!

I made mention of my 40-year-old-virginity on some stupid message board. And as it often happens, I was condemned for it by certain nutballs on that message board. It’s as if they find my sexual inactivity to be a threat to them. To that I have to ask why do these sex-crazed sexos think that everybody has to be like them. Just because they like sex so much doesn’t mean everybody should do it. And that should be an irrefutable argument. You shouldn’t tell people how to live their lives even if you don’t like their lifestyle. But the argument is refutable, because so many people are so vicious with their intolerance that they demand that everyone be like them. Computer, end program!

This sort of bullshit is what I call further proof that message boards can be a high source of evil. It’s like message boards are only for groups of people who all think alike. If that true, then maybe I should only participate in message board where the all the people there think like I do. But wait! That’s impossible. Nobody, out of a population of 6 billion, thinks like I do. And that’s further proof that I am completely, totally , utter and entirely alone.

I have to make my stupidity pay off in some way, so maybe by standing up and showing everyone what happens when your stupid like me (and a lot of people are, in this way, now a days.) This is from my Blog and some of it was stream of thought writing so it is not real smooth, but it is real. READ AND TAKE HEAD. a life IS a terrible thing to waste.

As many know, I am diabetic. My left eye has been getting out of focus for a few years now and I was starting to worry but now.....
....Now it looks like some veins in my eye have decided to pop a leak! I have what looks like a drop of blood, floating around inside my left eye, leaving a trail back to the fine line veins of my eye, which the Doctor I saw last night (if I remember correctly) said was most likely a retinal hemorrhage. I go to an eye Doctor today at 9:45AM (on a Saturday) so I think they might be a bit worried to rush me in like that, on a weekend.

So, while on the outside I seem totally cool and under control… Inside, I’M FREAKING OUT!!!! Mistress Mimsey is sick now too (stomach flu – I feel so sorry for her) so that is helping to keep me calm… I just keep telling myself, “She is sick and needs you to hold it together so you can ‘be there’ for her.” I think that is the only thing keeping a lid on me right now… I’m VERY touchy about my eyes, always have been. I’M SCARED, I’M WORRIED, AND I’M TOTALLY FREAKING OUT… but only on the inside, at least till after I see the eye Doctor.

I DRIVE FOR A LIVING AND BECAUSE I LOVE TO DRIVE… WHAT WILL I DO IF MY EYE GOES????

Calm thoughts…… calm thoughts…… I won’t worry till I have something real to worry about… for now I just don’t know… so… Wish me luck!

~~~New on the menu - LASER FRIED RETINA~~~

Well, it did turn out to be a retinal hemorrhage and my eyes it seems are all fucked up... not getting enough oxygen so it tried to grow some new veins, that are too weak and to small to do the job, but they do let in some blood, then they pop and leak into my eye. The cure for this??? can you guess??? KILL OFF THE RETINA!!!! so it won't need so much oxygen and it will stop making the new veins. Most of the retina is not really important anyway... it's just your night vision and peripheral vision (NOT VERY IMPORTANT MY ASS) so not a great loss. The important part is the macula (in the middle) it sees detail and color... these veins will cause it to swell and blur, as well.

So, they are going to shoot my retina full of holes with a laser out in the 'not so important' area, AND slow cook (also with a laser) the 'important' part.

I'm a pussy when it comes to things in my eyes... at eye tests; the air jet test and the blue ring test FREAK ME OUT! I cannot touch my eye. I cannot put drops in my eye. The Doctor put 7-9 different drops in my eyes then pressed a contact lens with a funnel like eye piece form him to look through, ON MY EYE and proceeded to zap me with the laser 12 low power zaps and I'm about to freak so we take and break and he says done with the low power stuff, time to turn this bad boy up a few notches... and the hum filled the room... strapped back in the chair, with the lens on my eyes again... he fires that thing off.... OMG!!!!

After 6 shots I freak out and rip myself out if the straps and stand up. I go back Wednesday. loaded with valium and vicodein and if I can't do it then we will give me a shot in the eye (YES A SHOT, WITH A NEEDLE- I FUCKING HATE NEEDLES) and then strap me down (real straps, not the Velcro I busted out of today) and drill me full of laser holes (ABOUT 1000 OF THEM and I freaked out after just 6?!?!?!?!?!)

After all that it's still a wait and see if it works kind of thing, and it's only about a 65% chance it will help, with a 10% chance it will make things worse.... THEN, after the blurring it WILL cause goes away in a few weeks, he wants to do my GOOD EYE!!!! He says it's bad too just not leaking yet... As Mistress Mimsey would say, "fuck fucking fuckity fucking fuckity fuck fuckers!!!"

Oh, and my little blood leak that was my original problem, they can't do anything about, it will or it won't go away in two weeks to two months. OH MY FUCKING GOD!!!!

I want to scream, I want to cry, I want to just smash my head against the wall till my vision clears up, I want pity, but I do not deserve it. I did this to myself. I did not take care of my diabetics for about 10 years, for a long list of reasons, most of which are bullshit. I'm getting exactly what I deserve and now it's too late to fix it... NOW I WANT TO LIVE! I HAVE REASONS TO LIVE NOW!! and I was stupid and careless and now I will pay for it...

I've never gone through all their forms because I could be on the computer for hours -- and that could be a best-case scenario!! Needless to say, the purpose here is NOT to give you a free laptop, but to SELL your e-mail address to other spammers! Isn't there something wrong with that?!?

Everbody is a moral relativist

I understand that morality should be the same for everyone. But it's not because we live in a world without consensus. That, plus following moral principles is often not practiced consistently even by those who claim to have high moral standards. And then are those who claim to have high moral standards who use low moral standards to force their brand of morality on others. I'm suddenly reminded of the Taliban. But still, in this age of nuclear, chemical and biological weapons, I say it's preferable to use peaceful methods to persuade people to live morally. Needless to say, it's not that simple. It's never that simple.

The nuclear option for guiltification

The nuclear option for guiltification is what I call a situation where you are effectively silenced because another person angrily notes how frivolous your whining is when compared to the much more severe problems that certain other people have. And the most coomon response here is the feeling of massive guilt when such people make note of your frivolous whining. Of course to present a counter-arguement for that would make you an even bigger asshole. And though I'd love to present counter-arguemnts here, I'm not going to because I don't want to be guiltified any further and I don't want to become an even bigger asshole. All I can say is that I believe this situation further confirms my assertion that the love of pleasure is the root of all evil. So if it wasn't for that, I wouldn't be whining about frivolous issues.

I'm perpetually freaked-out by what appears to be a common belief that freedom only applied to groups and never to individuals. Of course my immediate response to that is that if that's true, then I'm Major General Hank Landry: Leader of Stargate Command! For example, people who incorrectly define democracy as ONLY majority rule therefore believe that rights and freedoms should ONLY belong to the majority. But at the same time, it's been said that figures such as Thomas Jefferson have stated that the Bill of Rights protects MINORITY RIGHTS. I suspect that's the case because as far as the majority goes, there is strength in their numbers. Thus, the majority can protect their own rights. The minority, however, are less likely to be able to protect their own rights. Therefore they need DOCUMENTATION that they have rights too.

But guess what? Many of those who support freedom for the majority only are likely to dismiss my argument in suppooret of minority rights. And because of that, I'm going to continue to be perpetually freaked-out over the inaccurate belief that freedom is only for groups.

More proof psychology is proof that still mostly bunk

Recently, my mother started seeing a therapist. After she talked to the therapist about me, the therapist apparently concluded that I'm suffering from some kind of "drawing syndrome." WTF?!?!?!?

This is exactly why I think therapy is such high-level bunk. When a person takes part in what the "community" might define as "aberrant behavior" even though that "aberrant" behavior does no harm, they want the psychological "experts" to define that behavior as a mental illness. I may be wrong when I say this, but I'm going to gamble that I' right: Mental illness - like everything else in this so-called "reality" - is a matter of context. For example, the civil rights protesters who violated the segregation laws of the south must have been defined by a number of people as being mentally ill. In their disturbed context of those racist scum, they were right. In the context of today, civil rights protesters were not mentally ill for opposing segregation laws.

All I want to do is be creative and express myself freely. That's supposed to be a sign of mental illness?!? "But brain scans clearly show that there are differences between a normal person's brain and a mentally ill person's brain." But it's still context, retardo! If the "mentally ill" brain patterns were the majority, then the "normal" brain patterns would be mental illness. Similarly, homosexuality was defined as a mental illness 50 years ago. But it's not a mental illness now. I think everybody should know about that!

Needless to say, few people will believe my arguments against the absurdities of the pseudo-science known as psychology. Because of that, I totally wish I could get my black ass of this shit-hole planet and never come back!

Folks need to know science. Or do folks need to know science?

Last year's tsunami disaster reminds me of the fact that people need to know science. The EMP threat reminds me of the fact that people need to know science. The ATW issue reminds me of the fact that people need to know science. That's because all these factors have or can effect many millions of people. If the public is uninformed about science issues, then they won't be able to adequately deal with these science issues. But since science is unpopular, most folks will insist that most folks DON'T need to know science. You can explain to them with copious evidence about how important science literacy is. Unfotunately, they very likely will always insist that science knowledge is not that important.

At this point in time, I don't have a solution for the science illiteracy of problem (assuming that it is a problem) and the resistance of many to learn science. Even so, I'm going to continue to assume that folks need to know science.

Alone

Yup! It's true. There's a population of 6 billion, and I'm completely alone. I have all these weird and way-out ideas I want to express. And when I do express them, I often find that I'm the only one who appreciates them. Needless to say, no one is required to appreciate my ideas. But if there's a population of 6 billion, there should -- at the very least -- be a few thousand people who'll appreciate those ideas. So now I have to ask, where are those few thousand people?

But more to the point, it seems like I have to live everyday with what I perceive to be the pressure to "conform." It's as if my unique way of seeing and doing things is generally unacceptable. Of course I could solve this problem by "conforming." But life is already boring enough to me with the spectactular mediacrity I have to live through. If I "conformed", life would 100 times more boring! But of course that's my problem, so whatever.

Yes! This "being alone" problem is just a perception I have. I'm probably overexagerating anyway. Nevertheless, I feel that I'm so alone that those who also claim to be alone are nowhere near as alone as I am.

I hate people who resort to insulting you when you're attempting to have an intellectual conversation. They don't have enough brain cells to hold their own in a discussion and so resort to the tried and true tactic of the feeble minded. And since they can't throw a punch online, the monkeys fling insults like their own feces instead.

With a "friend" like her, who needs a terrorist attack?!

Have I mentened the problem I'm having with a certain former friend before? If so, I'll mention it again anyway.

Anyway, after three or so years of failed attempts of restoring the friendship, I've decided that a former friend of mine will always remain a former friend. When I first met this friend, whom I'll call Zatarc, she was very, very nice to me. I loved being around her and very much enjoyed talking with her. Now, she rarely talks to me at all. And during the few times we do talk, she almost always says something insulting and degrading.

So why does Zatarc have such a negative attitude toward me? I'm not entirely sure why, but my guess is that is had to do with that time in late 2002 when I got into this masive whine-off in front of the weekly cartoonist group that we're both a part of. But whatever the case, Zatarc IS NOT the same person I met nine years ago. "You know, Yul. Your bad attitude may have contributed to Zatarc's bad attitude." Yes! That's probably true. But why in the solar system won't she be the adult she claims to be and stop treating me like shit?!?

So unless some sort of miracle happens, it loks like Zatarc and I will be enemies for life and beyond. Of course I'm never going to like this situation since I want to have as few enemies as possible. Ho ve!!

Nuclear and atomic

Last week I ended up teaching my therapist basic nuclear physics because she, like most people it seems, believes that there's a difference between a "nuclear" bomb and an "atomic" bomb. They're synonymous, duh! So I now ask in this nuclear age, why do so many people not know even the most basic things about nuclear physics? You know, this nuclear stuff has an effect on the entire world. With that being the case, shouldn't folks at least know what it is? Over-estimating people's intelligence

It seems like I've spent most of my life over-estimating people's intelligence. And at the same time, unfortunately, others often underestimate my intelligence. And though I know that people aren't as smart as I hope they are, they still surprise me with what they don't know. For example, I'm still shocked to know that my therapist never heard of Sally Ride, the first American woman in space. On the other side, there was the time when a friend of mine incorrectly concluded my knowledge of languages when I was talking to another friend about Esperanto. Here, I mentioned that the letter "J" in Esperanto has a "Y" sound, then that other friend told me that other languages of "Js" with "Y" sounds as if I didn't know that. Duh! I figured that out years before I met that friend! Moreover, it seems like a lot of folks assume I'm dumb because I hardly talk. But as we all know, I would talk and talk and talk and talk and never shut up if I were permitted to SPEAK FREELY!!!

In this complex world, people should know stuff. But as far as I can tell, knowing stuff is UNPOPULAR. As such, I have to try to be constantly aware of the fact that I know stuff that most folks don't (or so it seems). And I still think it's bogus that I have to deal with this limited know deal, and I have to be accused of having limited knowledge on things I know about.

According to many people, everything that is popular is good and everything that is unpopular is bad. According to my observations, some things that are popular are good and some things that are popular are bad. Likewise, some things that are unpopular are good and some things that are unpopular are bad. Unfortunately, I live in this dystpoia where POPULARITY=GOOD always. Apprently, this is the case because it's easier to just say popular ideas are good than it is to investigate the worth of an idea. Imagine of the people of early 20th century Germany had EXAMINED the worth of Nazism. One possible outcome of that might have been the prevention of the Second World War.

Needless to say, that argument won't go over well with those who are adamantly certain that POPULARITY=GOOD always. Whatever! But I still have tons more to say that I believe adequately disproves that claim.

Here's a simple concept: If you don't like Esperanto, you don't have to speak it. But despite that simple fact, there are those who have what I call in irrational hatred for Esperanto. Why is that?

I'm of the mind that there are things that are much more worthy of condemnation that Esperanto. Like how about international terrorism? And I can't say it enough times: If you don't like Esperanto, you don't have to speak it! Let the rest of us slobs who appreciate it speak it and promote it. Anti-Esperanto folks love to talk about how "unpopular" it is. As if being unpopular makes something bad. Well, in the free nations of the world, people should have the right to practice unpopular ideas. It's not going to hurt anybody. Like I said before, Esperanto is nowhere near as bad as terrorism. Besides, Esperanto is like stamp collecting. Stamp collecting may not be popular, but it's not something worthy of high condemnation like terrorism!

Anti-Esperanto folks also like to say that Esperanto is dead. But in order for something to be dead, it has to be 100 percent dead. Not 99.9 percent or 99.999 percent. I mean, if there are at least two million Esperanto speakers worldwide as well as thousands of books and web sites written in the language, then how can Esperanto be dead? The only way it could be dead is if all Esperantists were dead and all written records of the language were completely destroyed. Yup! After all that, Esperanto would be dead.

"But Esperanto's unpopular! You can't do something that unpopular!" Oh yes I can, you fart-hole! Because freedom of choice gives me the right to do unpopular things. And if you haven't heard me the first couple of million times, if you like Esperanto, you don't have to speak it!!!

The art problem

One of the most unfortunate lessons I've learned in life is that people primarily judge the quality of art by the quality of the artist's attitude or personality. If an artist has a good attitude, then that means their art is good. If an artist has a bad attitude, then that means their art is bad. As for me, I DON'T expect everybody to like my art even if it's judged on its own merits. But as things stand now, NO ONE likes my art because my attitude is so sucky. A few years ago, I ended up expressing my bad attitude on some (stupid) message board, and one person there adamantly stated that she would NEVER look at my art because of my bad attitude. I know, I know, I know!! I should change my attitude if I want to sell my art. Yup! That could work. However, my current way of thinking says that that would be the height and the depth of bullshit! What I'm saying here is that art should be judged on its own merits and not on the artist's attitude. If attitude is how art is judge, then that means ART IS MEANINGLESS! It means that ONLY the artist's attitude is being judged, and the art has no determination as to whether an artist is creative or not.

This is what I call another one of those situations where I wish I could go to a haven to get away from the incessantly stupid customs of this so-called "society." In a haven, I might actually be able to have my art judged ONLY on its merits and NOT according to my attitude!

TechTV should return

I'd like to call this one of the worst scams in broadcast history. When TechTV and G4 TV first merged, they made it sound like the new network would be a combination of both. Now, over a year or so later, Tech TV NO LONGER EXISTS!!!!! Only one or two TechTV shows remain, while everything else is G4 TV. Computer, end program!!

TechTV, originally called ZDTV, was a cable channel that focused on computers and technology and provided a wide variety of programs in that area. Shows like Call for Help (a live phone-in show on basic computer advice), the Screensavers (a live phone-in show on more advanced computer advice), Cybercrime (a show that reports on computer-related criminal activities) and Big Thinkers (a show that features innovators in high-tech an other science fields). G4 TV, on the other hand, is nothing but video games, video games, video games. Not that I'm against video games, but I have a greater preference for the kind of programming they had on TechTV. Unfortunately, a network with the kind of programming TechTV had doesn't exist.

If I had my way, I would bring back TechTV or at least create my own network similar to TechTV. I would even go so far as to rehire many of the folks who were on the original TechTV. There are those who claim that the hundreds of existing cable channels prove that there is a variety of programming on TV. But I say the fact the TechTV is gone and no viable replacement has come disproves that claim. TechTV should return!

Ignoring technological advancement

Let me see if I understand this. After Thomas Edison invented the phonograph, people were awestruck and amazed at that technological miracle. But after Burt Rutan launched the first privately-financed resuable spaceship TWICE within one week - something that has NEVER been done before -- most people ignored it. To that I have to ask, why is it that people 100 years ago were astounded by technological breakthroughs, while the people of today routinely ignore technological breakthroughs. Doesn't that sound BACKWARDS?!?!?!?!?! If we're so much more advanced than the folks of Edison's time, why were people of that olden era more intellectually curious than the people of today?!? If folks had the same lackluster attitude toward the invention of the phonograph, technologies like video tape and CDs might not be hear today. Likewise, the lack of support for privatized space travel might lead to the end of all space travel within the foreseeable future.

I know, I know, I know! People have the right to disregard technical breakthroughs if they want. But I still say it doesn't make sense for so many people in this so-called "21st century" to be so disinterested in technical breakthroughs.

I hated, hated, hated that season!! And Bananarama and Ace Of Base were right. It's a cruel summer! Summer is what I call a hellish waiting period between spring and fall. Weeks and weeks of horrible heat and humidity to suffer through. Though I hate the sub-zero cold of winter, I hate the thermonuclear heat of summer much, much more! And to add insult to this million-degree injury, newscasters routinely say what I call stupid remarks like "looks like we're going to have a nice day tomorrow" about horribly hot weather. Computer, end program!!! If you like hot weather so much, why don't you go to Venus where the average temperature is 900 degrees Fahrenheit!

If I had my way, I'd establish a colony on Mars that had an artificial biosphere with perfectly-tuned weather. Then I'd have the ability to avoid cruel summers forever.

Regarding Fire Spinners!!!

Now all those of us who have seen fire spinners for about a 100th time - there is nothing new to watch. Its the same poi, same spinners, the same patterns, the same drum music, the same atmosphere, the same people doing the same things over and over again - YET we watch it . With amazed faces akin to what a dog makes when I put him on the phone we watch. With tired eyes which are burning with the fumes of the fuel so carefully discarded from the dripping poi, with ears that are screaming for something other than the drums and the silent whooshing of the poi as it goes so near the body, occasionally touching it lightly , oh so lightly , and then leaving a welt - very much like a gentle but dedicated dominatrix. Why do we watch it ? Why do we listen ? I ponder . I lay awake at night watching my beautiful fiance's naked body as it gently rises and falls with each of her beautiful breath. Staring at the ceiling as it gently calls me. Staring at the full length mirror to see nothing but my ugly face ! And then BAM - just like that - it hits me.

The answer lies in quite the culturally opposite redneck phenomena called NASCAR. It has been around for decades. It has the same cars running the same circles and yet we watch. WHY ? BECAUSE ONCE IN A WHILE A REDNECK THINKS HE SAW A RED BREASTED WARBLER IN THE STANDS - THE ONE THAT HIS DADDY COULD NEVER (Translate NE'ER) SHOOT AND TRIES TO SHOOT IT WITH HIS OH SO EVERREADY AND LOYAL 12 GAUGE THAT HE KEEPS WITH HIM ALL THE TIME . AND AS HE GALLANTLY TRIES TO MULTITASK DRIVING THE VEHICLE AT 140MPH AND TAKING A DECENT SHOT AT THE WARBLER (Which in reality is a TShirt on an octagenerian who is fulfilling her last wish by coming to the track - courtesy of the Make a Wish foundation!!) HE FLIPS. HE FLIPS AND TAKES WITH HIM FOUR OR FIVE MORE OF HUMANITY'S CHEESIEST DISPLAYS OF MACHISMO AND EMPTY HEADS !! OH GOD ! DEAR GOD ! I hate MCI!

We had AT&T, and all was well. Then MCI calls and offers us a deal. We would get a buttload of long distance minutes we would never be able to use up AND it would cost less than what we currently had. So we swtiched. Sweetness, right? Wrong. Turns out MCI forgot to mention the other $25 in "fees and taxes" so now we are paying MORE than what we were paying with AT&T. So you would think the solution would be to switch back, right? Wrong again. Because MCI would charge us about $150 to switch to another phone company. So we're stuck with their shitty service because we can't afford to switch. How lame is that? And the fuckers call us at least 3 times a week to bug us about our phone bill which we always pay but they keep screwing it up and saying we didn't. And for god's sake learn how to pronounce my roomate's name. "Good morning is Raymond..... Raymond.... Lavasqueey... there?" I mean HELLO? Don't you people have a way to make a note of how to pronounce it? You can sit there and bring up all of our information but you don't keep notes on pronounciation of your customer's names? Every time they call I have to listen to the bitch on the other end stumble through his name. So annoying! It's called customer service, people. Look it up sometime.

I think it's just disgusting the clothing some people wear. I don't have a problem with people who are over-weight. I'm a little over-weight myself, but I wear the proper clothing. Why is it some people feel a need to wear clothes two three sizes too small and call it fashion? Girls, stop thinking you have to wear the latest skimpy fad in order to be fashionable. No one wants to see every bulging roll of blubber on your body. Why do women all want to dress like 12 year old girls.

And I'm not just picking on women... men have been doing it a lot longer with their guts hanging out over their pants. Some practically need some kind of wheeled support to cart that wad of flesh around with them. It's like they've worn the same pants size since highschool and whatever doesn't fit is free to spill out over the top like a tidal wave of fat. And fat men who wear no shirts at all should be shot. ok so there is this little 6 year old boy that bugs the crap out of me every weekend when i am out on my patio. at first i was nice to him until i found out that he was a little demon from hell. ocassionally i like to put my cat outside on the patio and he will terrorize my cat so i put him inside when the kid is around and he came over to ask if he could pet the cat and i'm teling him "no he's going to stay inside today." so he starts trying to go in my house!!! so i stop him and he takes the cat's leash from where i keep it and says he is going to steal it because he is "big enough" to steal it!! lol then he goes over to the neighbor's house and starts "ding-dong-ditching" them. so the poor lady keeps comming to the door and there's no one there! he's hiding in the bushes around the corner!!! so finally we make eye contact (me and the neighbor lady) and i point to the little boy and she says "RYAN?" - then he runs!!! then she looks at me and says "are you ryan's mom?" i'm like NOOOOO!!! this kid is so annoying!!! and i never see his mother. she just lets him run all over the place!!!

Therapy still sux!

I saw my therapist yesterday, and she adquately disappointed me again. You see, the real problem I have with my therapist is that she is not motivating me to change my behavior. Even if she is right about everything she says to me, I still have no intention of taking her advice since I don't feel the need or desire to do so. If she's the competent mental health professional she may claim to be, then she should be able to figure out a way to convince me to change my behavior so that I feel as if I chose to change my behavior. I'm going to try to explain this the next time I see her. And if she still doesn't get it, then I may have to quit therapy for good.

Now I have to conclude with my admittedly limited intelligence and perceptions that that incident more than shows that The Newshour is nothing more than a PR firm for the Republican party. It seems that some folks say that determining the newsworthiness of an event is COMPLETELY subjective. If that's the case, how the hell are we ever going to learn the truth about news events (or at least get close to the truth)?!? Of course that's why I tend to believe the "news" media -- whether it's left-wing bias, right-wing bias or any other kind of bias -- are not really news sources.

This weekend I went to a certain chicken establishment, (Ok, Boston Market) and the guy that took my order had no idea how to quarter a chicken, and he ends up giving me the most revolting looking chicken breast. Somehow he managed to pull out the spine and it was sticking out from under it and I swear it looked just like the face hugger from Alien. I don't even blame the guy, because he was at the register, he just went and did that because the kitchen people were off in a corner talking, and I'm an idiot for not demanding he take his alien pod back and give me something else.
It takes very little to gross me out and completely put me off a meal so needless to say I didn't eat.

Who are making fun of the pope. There must be some vestiges of catholicism in me, because even though I did not agree with a lot of the pope's views on things like abortion, birth control, the death penalty, and various other hot button issues, I always liked him. To me, he was a great man who did so much, not some evil bastard as some on tribe are implying and/or saying.

I just saw a chick from (where else) SF who made a listing today saying "The pope is dead, START SINNING!!!" that prompted us all to go sin. Apparently, she does not realize murder is a sin, but what do you expect from idiots? Certainly not knowledge of the things they damn, because, after all, they don't have to know anything about it, just that they don't like it. Fucking morons...we should cane their parents for teaching them to speak.

The really fucking obnoxious part is this moron has pics in her profile of her lighting candles for a tsunami victim vigil. Wow..the fucking irony is too thick.

So, not only is she stupid, but she's a hypocrite as well. Granted, it is nothing unusual for the two to go hand in hand, but to rise to such a level as this? Well, some people deserve a special room in hell, IMO.

This place is far to mellow where are all the angry mother fuckers with a lot so say about nothing.......

So I decide I needed a drink and I make fatal mistake #1 of my evening I go to a drive thru.....A Wendy's drive thru, now I give way to fast food incompentence because if your stupid enough to pay for something thats going to eventually kill you you deserve to experience any and all personal shame of the drive thru, but this takes the fucking cake....I get my large Dr.Pepper (cause if your going to fix go all the way) and I pull out to leave the car in front of me is blocking the exit so I wait the car behind me is getting her food so I know she like me will want to leave...but Dumb bitch of the universe is blocking the exit, so I finally lean out the windo and ask her "ARE YOU GOING TO LEAVE!" She snaps back at me "I ORDERED MY FOOD AND THEY DIDN'T GET IT RIGHT I'M NOT LEAVING TILL THEY BRING IT OUT TOO ME!" Now I'm a patient person normal basis but the dude with her food went out the other door because he most likely told her to park her car in the other parking lot while he fixed her complicated shit order.... But dumb bitch of the universe didn't see him go out the door with her food so she's blocking three cars as now another person pulled up to get food while me and the chick behind me are waiting for dumb bitch of the universe to get her order.....At this point I decided she needed a wake up call.....
"OK UM PRINCESS DID IT EVER OCCUR TO YOU TO MOVE YOUR ASS TO THE OTHER PARKING LOT TO PICK UP YOUR ORDER AND NOT BLOCK THREE CARS IN THE DRIVE THRU....REALLY I'M JUST CURIOUS!"

my boyfriend picked up my 7 yr old from after school care today, then called to inform me that he got in trouble for "playing guns". The aide said that my boyfriend should tell me to take away Nathan's video-game priviledges (which he hasn't had in a month anyway).

I'm fine with working with the teachers on Nathan's discipline issues if/when they come up: if he's harming himself or others, etc. but I can't believe that pretending is now off limits...
Now, I'm a pretty liberal person...but all this nonsense is getting out of hand.

My cousins were not allowed to "play guns" when they were little either, but inevitably they pick up the paper towel roll and make the laser-gun noise...(piewm-piewm)

I don't like the phrase "boys will be boys". I think kids should be taught consequenses, and Nathan knows where his boundaries are.

He doesn't "play guns" at home really, unless he's playing with his Legos...THEY'RE FAKE!!! He knows that "guns are bad" but he's shooting "bad guys"!! PRETENDING!!!!

I have this friend that is famous for not showing up/ showing up late/ breaking plans, etc...
She calls me on Friday when I'm at work saying we have not talked in awhile lets do something on Sunday. She calls me two more times Friday night and again on Saturday to remind me that she is coming over and she's waking me up at 12..
So today she wakes me up at noon to tell me she just got off the phone with this other friend of ours and they are going to do groceries and go to babies r us and then go back home and watch movies and do I want to join them. So I tell her what about the plans we had and she said she forgot so I say why did she wake me up then and she said she tought she had to wake me up but forgot why.
WTF? I wouldnt mind if she had called out other friend and brought her along, but they live far from me and the reason she was supposed to come down to my place is that I had stuff to do around here and one of the things was we were supposed to go to this store in Hollywood, which is even farther north than what they live and one of the things we were getting where baby shower gifts so actually, no, the other girl could not come with us cuz then she would have seen them!

Ok anyone in here electronic savy? I bought a JVC GR-D33. I thought I was getting the 72 but that is another story. So it doesn't have usb streaming. Which I hear is really only useful for web cam abilities? Well I need it for class. I need to be able to upload video from the cam to my computer and send it as an attachment to my school for reports and presentations. I was just talking to my friend, who I love dearly but is a little scatter-brained. She was saying something about needing firewire to be able to transfer data off my video camera to the computer??? Can anyone help me?? Is the camera I have now suitable for this? Do I need to get a new one, and if so can anyone suggest one?? I'm so confused.

So today my buisness partner Kigs and I took a trip down to city hall, and to the chamber of commerce of stockton cali, where i live, in the parking lot Kigs and I were looking as to exactly which building we were supposed to go into... a gentleman was walking in the parking lot and we politly stopped him and asked him "Sir, would you happen to know where the Chamber of Commerce offices are?" he kind of laughed and pointed at his shirt and suggested the office he worked in, and then introduced himself as the CEO of the CoC, we walked upstairs with him, as he was showing us the way to the office, and casually chatted with him, we explained to him our buisness idea, we are setting up a rave/club buisness, well he loved the idea... he told us to wait at the balcony and enjoy the view of the new stadium is in the process of building in stockton, my associate looked into the ceo's office and i realized that i knew his last name, turns out i am long time friends with his son, and used to work with his band and actually breated and designed the first t-shirts for his band, so conversation ensued, and we listened to some of his sons music in the office, he called his son and was all about having me talk to his son, he was so excited to meet one of his sons long time friends that he nearly pushed our buisness concept right down his sec's throat, IT WAS AMAZING!!!!

OUR WORLD IS RUN BY DUMB TEENS!!!!!!!

Ok, maybe I am getting older and that is why I see everyone as a teen. I also understand that teens should be able to work...BUT COME ON!!!!
Is anyone else frustrated with the way things seem to be controlled by teenagers and others that just don't give a fuck? They are just there from 9-5 and to collect their paycheck? They do just the bare minumum so that they do not loose their job? Because it certainly seems that way to me.

I have been going back and forth with my bank for 2 weeks now to get a mortgage approved. We were approved for over $ 350,000 so we bought a house for $225,000. We also put a $12,000 payment down so the mortgage was also lower. They were more than eger to pre-approve it. Now everyday, this person needs something new!!! He barely speaks English and cannot be over 22-23..... WTF!! I am dealing with a 1/4 million $$$, not ordering a fucking burger. I want to deal with somebody that has a little life experience and the common courtesy to call ME when there is a problem!!! I know that 1/4 million $$$ is not a big deal with the bank, but it is a big deal to me, especially because I am 2 days away from loosing the deal.

Is there anything that says more "I am not listening to a word you are saying" than just replying "That's cool" to everything I say? I HATE when people do that! It would at least make some sense if I was the one that called and the other person was too polite to tell me they were busy or not in the mood to talk, but everytime I have gotten mad because of this, it was the other person that called.
Today it was a friend that called me to ask me if I wanted to work on a video next Friday and I tell her I can't because I'm having dental surgery and she goes "that's cool" I say no, it's not cool so then she asks me something about my ex I recently broke up with, I say I'm dealing but I'm still kinda sad, she says that;s cool, she asks me that I did last nite, I say I stayed home she says "cool" then she hangs up...WTF? WHy wake me up with a phone call if you don't want to talk? And it's not like she was changing the conversation cuz I was being negative or something, she was just asking random things and then just saying cool, cool to anything I replied.

now that I'm typing it doesnt seem like that big a deal but it was really annoying at the time.
